Committee: Show Layout and Hanging
Purpose: Plan the display of all quilts registered for the show. Plan layout of vendors, demonstrations, admission table, opportunity quilt table, membership table, student quilts, and other aspects of the show requiring space. Secure needed tables and racks for displays. Plan for electricity needs for vendors and demonstrations. Tasks to be completed:
- Review space and make general plans
- Define number of vendor spaces available
- Determine need for signs and tell sign committee
- Reserve estimated number of tables and racks
- Arrange for delivery of display stands, etc from storage unit to site on Friday morning
- Solicit a team to assist with hanging quilts
- Work with registration team to determine number of quilts
- Be present (with team) at show site on Friday to direct the hanging of quilts and assignments of Vendors, etc.
- Assure all quilts are hung appropriately
