Committee: White Glove Hostesses
Purpose: To provide guild hostesses who wear white cotton gloves, stand near quilts and display the underside of the quilt to interested viewers. All this is to prevent viewers (particularly children) from touching the quilts with their hands. These ladies are the “Quilt Police.” Tasks to be completed:
- Determine need for signs (e.g. “Do Not Touch – Ask for help from the White Glove Hostesses”) and informed sign committee.
- Obtain white gloves from quilt show coordinator
- Schedule hostesses for shifts to cover the Show adequately (one hostess for every Row of quilts is optimal).
- Bring white gloves to show
